About the Glacier Symphony & Chorale
Glacier Symphony
A full regional, community symphony orchestra that performs a variety of musical selections, including classical, holiday and pops concerts each season, October through July. Their concerts often feature world-class and emerging guest artists.
Glacier Chorale
A 75-voice, auditioned, adult symphonic choir that performs the great orchestral and choral repertoires. They perform with the orchestra for holiday concerts, while spring concerts may feature operettas and worldwide musical selections.
Glacier String Quartet
Comprised of the principal string players of the Glacier Symphony, the Glacier String Quartet performs public recitals, private engagements, and hosts educational workshops designed for increased community involvement.
Glacier Chamber Singers
This select choral ensemble performs at a variety of concerts, receptions and community events. Their repertoire often includes jazz, madrigals, Broadway tunes and spirituals.

The History of the Glacier Symphony & Chorale
The Glacier Symphony and Chorale (GS&C) has evolved from a small group of musicians who played together at a wedding in 1981 to a group of more than 280 volunteer and professional musicians who perform over 30 concerts annually in the Flathead Valley and Northwest Montana.
