Recognizing and Encouraging Montana’s Musical Talent
Every two years, Montana music students compete for opportunities to play with Montana’s Symphony Orchestras and win cash prizes. The 2009 Young Artists Competition is open to musicians ages 13 to 22 to perform a work for solo instrument with orchestral accompaniment.

Senior Division-$650 Prize
(Ages 16 through high school graduate)
College Division-$1000 Prize
(Post high school through age 22)
