The Glacier Symphony and Chorale depends on a variety of sources of funding to stay in operations. Currently, our ticket sales cover only 26% of the cost of running the organization. We rely upon grants, corporate donors, fundraising events and private individual donations to produce the wonderful symphonic and chorale music of the GSC, along with the important “Wild About Music” youth education and scholarship programs.

Legacy Giving

Don’t have disposable cash or assets now to give to the GSC? Consider making a bequest or other “Planned Gift” to create a legacy of music for northwestern Montana.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many volunteer opportunities for a range of interests, including concert volunteers, the League of the Glacier Symphony & Chorale, office volunteers, and buildings and grounds volunteers. Our volunteers enjoy special perks for sharing their time and energy with us!

Montana is a Symphony

A portion of the proceeds of the plate go to the Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras and helps to fund their outreach program. The outreach program is implemented by all member orchestras including the Glacier Symphony and Chorale. The funds help us to provide free concerts in the community for 5th and 6th graders and other music students featuring our internationally famous guest artists. For more information, please visit the Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras.
